yes, caste system is still prevailing in our country. according to me, the idea of discrimination on the basis of caste and nature of prejudices never left our beloved country. in the modern times, however, the inequalities in caste system have surely reduced. people of different castes are not being limited to their "so called" professions alone. rather, they're exploring different opportunities and mingling with everyone irrespective of any discrimination. but, we can see this horrible system still growing in few parts of our country. inter-caste marriages are, unfortunately, still looked down upon, even by educated people! there are reservations that still exist after 7 whole decades of independence which is unfair to the other castes.
this can be changed. it's not too late.
our generation has to be the generation that changes the history. it has to be the generation which is educated, not just by mere textbooks but also merit. it has to be the generation that did not just survive all the old traditions without speaking up, but the generation which stood up,
and thrived.
