Is the diffusion coefficient time-dependent?

In general, the standard diffusion coefficient defined by Fick's law, and the corresponding diffusion equation cannot describe the nonlinear time dependence of the MSD, and there is no simple comparable propagator for anomalous diffusion, although many sophisticated approaches have been introduced to model anomalous ..
