This event is Independent Event

Explanation:-

As, dependent events are the events in which the second event depend on the first event so probability of second event depends on the first event i.e. when two events are dependent. In this other events result depend on the result of First.

Example:- No power bill paid so no electricity.

Whereas independent events are the events in which the second event is independent of the first event so probability of second event doesn't depends on the first event i.e. when two events are independent.

Like in the case of this example:-

you have a jar with 24 pieces of chocolate candy and 14 pieces of orange candy. we take one piece of candy at random from the jar, put it back, and then take a second piece of candy at random from the jar In this question both the jar are independent from each other in term of number of candy as well as in terms of flavour of candy so it is termed in independent event. Also probability of second jar is independent of probability of First jar.
