No, the rotation of earth is not getting slower.

It is not in our control .We cannot maintain it.

But, may be it can happen later .

(1) It can rotate faster, if we continuously start digging the earth.

Due to digging, it's radius can decreases.

Hence, omega (w) can increases.

(2) It can rotate slower , if we continuously start building tall towers, etc.

Due to it, it's radius can increases.

Hence, omega (w) can decreases.

Make sure, it can happen according to me. They are only possible outcomes (expectations ).

In real life ( till now ) , they are not possible because there is balance between all.

If it happens, then our earth will destroy by earthquakes etc.
