yes universe is there since whole of the world is based on universe...

The universe is really present and all of this is a part of the universe. It was created by a gigantic explosion 15 billion years ago from a single point which lead to formation of solar systems and galaxies and formation of dimensions some of which are still unknown.
The universe is still expanding due to dark matter an unknown energy present in interstellar space.
