Astrophysicists have always thoughtnegative mass requires exotic physics that would be impossible in ourcosmos. They were wrong. Negative mass is the hypothetical idea thatmatter can exist with mass of theopposite sign to the ordinary stuff. Instead of 2 kg, a lump of negative mass would be -2 kg.
