Is there a difference between granulocytes, lymphocytes, and monocytes in terms of function?

Eosinophils, neutrophils and basophils are the granulocytes. Monocytes and lymphocytes are the agranulocytes. ... The main difference between granulocytes and agranulocytes is that granulocytes consist of a granular cytoplasm whereas agranulocytes do not consist of a granular cytoplasm.
