It's true indeed that until you're passionate about something, you can't do it. Your interest depends, not the salary you get.

So, now..if there is any future in music? umm.. if you love music or you're enthusiastic, then try to be perfect in this field. Focus and practice is what one need to achieve success in life.

If you're good at playing a guitar, then you may choose your career as a guitarist or if you love singing, you must keep on participating in reality shows.
