yes there is a conflict in the story . it arises at the moment when Navasard reaches home and comes to know that Arshak has gone to the chairman's house without any obvious reason,he becomes quite curious about that. the conflict reaches its climax when Navasard waits for Arshak till the end of the day and he doesn't come back to the old man's house the conflict is resolved the next day when he is informed departure of Arshak without meeting him
