YES,  the difference is that toad is called  the larval stage of frog whereas frog is called is adult stage

(i) Frog lives in or near water while toad lives in dark shady corners of gardens.

(ii) Teeth are in upper jaw in frogs and in toad teeth are absent in both the jaws.

(iii) Toads have gills but Frogs don't have gills.
