Is there any difference between additive inverse and only inverse?

1)If inverse of any number is multiplied to the number its 1, but if we multiply the additive  inverse it not 1....
2)If additive inverse of any number is added to its number its 0 but not in its inverse....
(Zero is exception in (1))
In simple Inverse is reciprocal of any number....
Additive inverse is changing the positive sign to negative and vice-versa.
