Is there any difference between symbiosis and lichen or both are the same term?

They both are same:-

symbiosis means where to living beings help together by getting benefit.

lichens are example for that.

lichen is combination of algae and fungi.

algae gives food to fungi and in return fungi protects it, so both are helping eachother by benefiting themselves.
