Is there any difference between the wall of atria and the wall of ventricles?

Although they work in time with each other, the two sides are separated by a muscular wall called the septum. The lower chambers are the right and left ventricles, which receive blood from the atria above. Their muscular walls are thicker than the atria because they have to pump blood out of the heart.
