The Richest ( or is claimed to be ) man in the world JEFF BEZOS, founder and CEO of Google and the owner of The Washington Post lives in the Kalorama neighborhood as does former President of the USA, Barak Obama. Not too far away former President Bill Clinton lives in the Georgetown area presumably with the former Senator, Secretary of State and unsuccessful Democratic candidate for President.
In this town those people are considered “famous”. Duvall, Bullock and Dreyfuss are “actors” and are writ large now and forever in entertainment annals…….but from the perspective of Washingtonians only the first 3 are truly famous. Also, whoever occupies the White House, no matter what people say, is certainly also considered famous or, depending upon one’s point of view, infamous.
