The given sentence is Transitive sentence.

Transitive verb in the sentence is - Studying.

What are Transitive verbs?

=> Transitive verb is the verb which specifies the direct object in the sentence.

For Example - Ramesh is playing football on the ground.

Here, the transitive verb is playing and thus the direct object is - Football.

The direct object is the object on which the action takes place.

Thus, in the above question the direct object is "Medicine" as it specifies the action and tells us that medicine is being studied.
