India needs unity in diversity because:
-being a secular country, India allows it's peple to practice, profess and propogate any religion they want or not follow any.
- India constitutionally forbids discrimination based on caste or religion.
-India supports a number of religions and cultures.
- Many religions follow different beliefs based on their religion.
