No Uracil is not a Pyrimidine but it acts like Pyrimidine

Uracil is one of the four nucleobases in the nucleic acid of RNA that are represented by the letters A, G, C and U. The others are adenine, cytosine, and guanine. In RNA, uracil binds to adenine via two hydrogen bonds.
Formula:C4H4N2O2

IUPAC ID:Pyrimidine-2,4(1H,3H)-dione

The same purines, adenine (A) and guanine (G). RNA also uses the pyrimidine cytosine (C), but instead of thymine, it uses the pyrimidine uracil (U).
