VIRUS ARE IMMORTALS....
THEY ARE BOTH LIVING AND NON - LIVING..
IT IS JUST DEPENDING ON THE ENVIRONMENT...
IF THE ENVIRONMENT IS SUITABLE FOR IT...THEY ARE LIVING....
IF THE ENVIRONMENT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR VIRUSE...
THEY ARE NON- LIVING....

They depend on other cell for their relocation. They are not considered living until and less they enter a living cell.

They get nutrition from the cell they enter into.

deepakkumar08: viruses are neither living or non living. even cell theory is not applicable for virus due to their dual nature. they are not true living nor dead. because they can self replicate which cannot be done by non living organisms
