Given,

        horses present in the circus = 7


In the question, it is given that the number of elephants is 8 more than the number of horses present in the circus.


∴ Number of elephants = number of horses + 8

from above, number of horses = 7

⇒ Number of elephants = 7 + 8

⇒ Number of elephants = 15
