hey dear friend here's ur answer

3x-2y=4
3×5-2×3=4
15-6=4
9=4

no it is not the solution of 1st pair

6x-4y =8
6×5-4×3=8
30-12=8
18 =8

it is also not solution

Hope it helps

Answer :

The given equations are

3x - 2y = 4 ...(i)
6x - 4y = 8 ...(ii)

Here, (i) × 2 gives the (ii) no. equation.

So, we need to check if x = 5, y = 3 satisfy (i) no. equation.

Then, putting x = 5, y = 3 in L.H.S. of (i), we get

L.H.S. of (i)

= 3 (5) - 2 (3)

= 15 - 6

= 9,

which is not equal to the R.H.S. of (i).

Therefore, x = 5, y = 3 is not a solution of the given pair of equations.
