is zero a rational no. ? why and how ?​

Let us understand what a a rational number is,

A rational number is one which can be expressed in the form p/q and q≠0.

•Zero is a rational number.

Proof/Explanation:

Zero can be expressed in the form of p/q.

Examples,

→0/2,0/4,0/1,0/100,...........................................

A point to notice is that,the answer in all these cases is zero.

Thus,it can be concluded that zero can be written in p/q form irrespective of the answer,which is of course zero.

Note:

Analysing the definition of a rational number,the denominator can never be zero.

So,numbers such as 1/0,0/0,100/0 are not rationals.

And the solution of such fractions is not defined
