The first being humans (and everything else.) require more than meat (Flesh.) to live. The biggest being water. Zombies never drink. The second being they would be mush within weeks. They'd go deaf and blind within a few days, then their teeth would fail FAST. Thirdly, even if it WERE to happen, any modern army would obliterate a zombie horde. They'd lose a few at first, but any army would quickly switch to heavy fabric suits (a la dog bite suits.) and the losses would all but halt. Also, ever seen T-26 abrahams tank? They are so impenetrable, they have not lost a single one in battle EVER. A brigade of these things would take out any zombie horde like nothing. Not to mention it's VERY easy to kill something that would follow any trace of human anywhere without question. Just dangle a soilder from a helicopter, then lead them into a killzone. There's no way that a zombie will happen now, or ever.
