Answer:

Hence the chocolate bought by Ishan and and Rishaan are 5 and 20 respectively.

Given:

Ishaan and Rishaan bought some chocolates. One of them bought 15 less chocolates than the other. If Rishaan has 80% of the total chocolates they bought.

To Find:

How many chocolates does Ishaan and Rishaan have respectively

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the chocolate bought by Ishaan = x

Let the chocolate bought by Rishaan = y

according to the question.

Rishaan has 80% of the total chocolates they bought.

therefore , y = 0.8 (x +y)

 10y = 8x +8y

8x = 2y

y = 4x

and y -x =15

putting the value of y =  4x

4x - x = 15

3x = 15

x = 5

y = 5x4 = 20

Hence the chocolate bought by Ishan and and Rishaan are 5 and 20 respectively.
