Your answer : Israel did not face water shortage because Israel is developed . India on the other hand is did not developed and face many difficulties of water. Israel people did not waste water and do rain water harvesting because they know that if there is water shortage everyone would face it , they do water harvesting and has many technology to clean water from sea which is not drinkable . Indians did not know about effects of water scarcity and thus waste water . India also do not have machines like Israel so that they can clean water from seas and oceans . Many of the Indians are poor and thus did not have money to do water harvesting and thus rainwater get wasted.

India thus need development to face the upcoming difficulties like freshwater shortage and a lot more.

Hope this answer helps you.....
