Given,

In a monthly test containing 20 ques

Each ques carries 5 mark, If answered correctly.

5 marks are reduced , If answered incorrectly.

Rahul Attempted all ques and scored 0

Now,

Marks of Rahul , If he answered the all ques correctly = 20 × 5 = 100 M

But, rahul scored 0

So, The no. of ques rahul answered incorrectly = 100/5+5 = 10

Therefore, rahul answered 10 ques incorrectly

Let, Total no. of correct answer be x
& Total no. of wrong answer be y

then , a/q
Total no. of question is 20
mean ,
x + y = 20 .....(1)

and ,
Total marks he score is 0
then ,
5x - 5y = 0
5( x - y ) = 0
x - y = 0 ...... (2)

Now subtracting the equation (1) & (2) ,

(x + y = 20)
- (x - y = 0)
--------------------
2y = 20
y = 10

Now putting the value of y in (1) eq.

x + y = 20
x + 10 = 20
x = 10

:. Total no. of right answer x = 10
& Total no. of wrong answer y = 10
