Answer:

The answer is 50%

Step-by-step explanation:

first we need to take out the CP of pencils which is 3*50=150.So the CP of pencil is 150.As 5 were damaged now pencil are 50-5=45.So we need to take the SP of 45 pencil which is 45×5=225.So the profit is 225-150=75. profit%=75/150×100.

Answer:

50℅

Step-by-step explanation:

For manufacturing 50 pencils each cost for

Rs 3.So cost price of 50 pencils is 50×3=150Rs

5 pencils out of 50 we're damaged. So the remaining 50-5=45 pencils were sold for Rs 5each.

Selling price of pencils = 45×5=225

C. p=150.

S. P=225

Profit = S. p-C. p=225-150=75Rs

So profit (P)= 75Rs.

By formula of Profit percent,

P=P/C.p×100

P=75/150×100=7500/150=50

So profit percentage is Rs 50.
