let 1 be a and 2 be b ok...

then, write it as

a = b

then, multiply both sides by a

a × a = b × a

then,

a^2 = ab

then, multiply both side by b^2

a^2 - b^2 = ab - b^2

then,

(a + b)(a - b) = b(a - b)

then, cancelling (a - b)

a+b = b

by then we put the values...

1 + 2 = 2

which is nothing but

3 = 2

OR

2 = 3
