It has been observed that birds drink very little water as compared to human beings in terms of body weight ratio. Why?

Birds have no sweat glands so they need less water than humans. However they do not lose water through respiration and in their droppings. Most os small birds need to drink water twixe a day to replace the loss of water. Birds get liquid they need from their food and by drinking.

Birds do require water for bathing and drinking purposes. In birds the requirement of water intake is less than humans.

The main reason behind this is the absence of sweat glands in birds. Insectivorous birds get most of their water intake from food while other seed eating birds need to fulfill their requirement by drinking water at least twice a day.
