2. let the number be x
when the number is X it's cube is x³
now when X is tripled it's cube will be too tripled.
3(x) = (3x)³
3x= 27x³
so when number is tripled it's cube is 27 times the number
3. cubes are as follow number wise I am writing direct cubes ...
1
8
27
64
125
216
343
512
729
1000

Step-by-step explanation:

Q2) let the number be 'x'

     Therefore, x^3 --> x*x*x

                       (3x)^3 --> 3x*3x*3x = 3*3*3*x*x*x = 27x^3

                                                                                      Hence Proved

Q3) 1^3 = 1

      2^3 = 8

      3^3 = 27

      4^3 = 64

      5^3 = 125

      6^3 = 216

      7^3 = 343

      8^3 = 512

      9^3 = 729

     10^3 = 1000

The pattern is that the cubes for 1, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10 end with their last digit

i.e. 5^3 = unit number is 5, '125'

     4^3 = unit number is 4, '64'

Q4) (i) 0.6^3 = 6/10^3 = 6/10*6/10*6/10 = 216/1000 = 0.216

      (ii) -3.1^3 = -31/10^3 = -31/10*-31/10*-31/10 = -29791/1000 = 29.791

      (iii) -0.01^3 = -1/100*-1/100*-1/100 = -1/1000000 = 0.000001

Q5) (i) ∛0.008 = ∛8/1000 = 2/10 = 0.2

      (ii) ∛-64/1331 = -4/11 = 0.36363637

      (iii) ∛27*2744 = 3*14 = 42
