Its easier to prevent something from happening than to lessen its impact os aftermaths...

Prevention is better than cure.

It is better that we prevent the disaster rather cure it.

This is because of safety of ours .

If we do not take safety precautions before the disaster , then we will be harmed even though we are capable of curing it.

This will also save us from future dangers and we have to shape and plan our future right from the present otherwise we never know what will happen to us ....

An example of this statement is vaccination is better than going to hospitals while affected by disease.
