This means that , as area increases,the pressure applied decreases , and vice versa.
Here , the area of sharp knife is less than the area of a blunt knife.
Hence,more pressure will be exerted by a sharp knife[ less area = more pressure ] than a blunt knife.

Pressure is inversely proportional to area. Sharp knife has a small area of contact than the blunt knife. Thus, a force will exert more pressure while using a sharp knife than while using a blunt knife.
