It is easy to remove stains of ink from a cloth than stains caused a few days ago

It is easier to remove fresh stains as when something is just spilt it is still wet and the cloth hasn't absorbed it yet, but when it is caused a few days ago it has already become dry and absorbes by the cloth. And ,it is easier to wash wet ink than the dried ink with water.
