'Threat of Over population'
The population of our country is increasing at an alarming rate and according to studies, India has become the second largest country in the world accounting for 15% of world’s population with only 2.4% of the world’s land area. The population explosion needs to be controlled in order to avoid the adverse effects on the country’s economic, social and environmental health. The growth of population has a lot of problems. The production of food cannot be kept in pace with the increasing requirements which results in chronic malnutrition especially among women and children. Health and illiteracy continues to be a problem. Growth of population leads to the problem of housing and sanitation. In many countries, slums are a sore to the eyes with all its drawbacks as these are areas of disease, filth and crime.
Now people have realized the dangers of over population. Every country has caught up with this problem and population growth control has become an economic necessity.

Dear Diary,
Such a beautiful day it was in Nainital. The place where I always wanted to visit. It is a dream come true. I just came back after a stroll on the hills. Standing on top of the hill, I could see miles and miles of green meadows. The only sound was that of chirping birds. There was pin drop silence all around. The colourful flowers all around me filled up my day. Mesmerising beauty and tranquility gave me inner peace which I always missed in my city life. The cool breeze was hitting my face and I fell as if I had entered a land of dreams.
Time just seems to fly away. Just a day left for my return to Agra!!! God, why so early!
