it's one factor is (x-1)

after doing long division the quotient will be...

x²+x-6

step 3: by splitting middle term

x²+x-6

x² +3x-2x-6

x(x+3)-2(x+3)

(x+3)(x-2)

so other zeroes are -3 and 2
