it is given that triangle ABC is similar to triangle pqr and BC by QR is equal to 2 by 3 then find area of triangle PQR by area of triangle ABC​

Its given that triangle ABC is similar to the triangle PQR

so

 { \frac{rq}{bc} }^{2} = \frac{pqr}{abc}

there fore square of3/2 =9/4

pqr/abc=9/4

ar(ΔPQR) / ar(ΔABC)

Solution:-

∴ar(ΔPQR) / ar(ΔABC) = (QR / BC)²

=(3/2)²

= 9 / 4
