The flight crew includes the crew which flies the aircraft, as well as the crew which takes care of passengers and their comforts.

Since the primary job responsibility of the crew looking after passengers is to take care of passengers, they have to ensure that passengers are comfortable throughout the flight. They may go out of the way to put passengers at ease, but such gestures should be understood as purely humanitarian and not a mandatory requirement.

Passengers should take upon the responsibility of treating the crew with compassion and not look upon them from a service perspective, alone.

‘The Accidental Tourist’ is a novel written by Anne Tyler and later adapted into a Hollywood movie.
