Wheat can not be grown in the monsoons or rainy season because :
1.Wheat does not require that much of water in which it requires probably .
2.It requires cooler climate which is not available during the kharif or rainy season.
3.Wheat requires medium intensity and shorter days in the initial stages which are not found in monsoon season.
4.If wheat is grown in monsoon ,then the farmer would probably get very little profit and plant will usually die.
5.Thus wheat plant is grown in rabi season that is grown October and harvested in the month of March or April ,giving a good yield and profit.
Hope it helps u!!!!!
