Hey !!

Given -

2(x-9)/7 + x/3 = 3

---> (2x-18)/7 + x/3 = 3
---> [ 3(2x-18) + 7x ]/21 = 3
---> 6x - 54 + 7x = 63
---> 13x = 63+54
---> 13x = 117
---> x=9

Hence , x=9 Ans.

Hope it helps you :)

Dear friend,

 \frac{2}{7}(x - 9) +  \frac{x}{3} = 3

 \frac{2x - 18}{7} +  \frac{x}{3} = 3

 \frac{3(2x - 18) + 7x}{21} = 3

 \frac{6x - 54 + 7x}{21} = 3

 \frac{13x - 54}{21} = 3

13x - 54 = 63

13x = 117

x =  \frac{117}{13}

x = 9

Answer. x is 9.

Hope it helps !!!
