The calculation of the amount of energy created by these solar panels is not that difficult as we know that 1MW is equal to 100KW and 1 KW is equal to 100W, i.e. 1MW is equal to 1000000W. The reason you need to know this is because solar panels come in different variants.

These variants come in different Watts sizes like 330W, 315W, 300W, 250W, etc. This is the explaination.

Answer:

Explanation:

1. Silicon solar cell of 1cm^2 size generates current of about 30 mA and of voltage 0.5 V.

2. power = V × l so, such a cell can generate about 15 mW power.

3. when solar panels are connected in series, the resultant voltage is equal to the sum of the voltage of individual cells and the current is the same as generated by a single cell.

4. when solar panels are connected in parallel, the resultant current is equal to the sum of the currents generated by each cell and the resultant voltage is the same as the single cell.

5. If we connected many solar cells in series or parallel connection the required quantity of power in MW can be generated. Therefore, it is possible to produce energy from mW to MW using solar photovoltaic  cells

hope this helps you
