it is true because an vegetarian gets energy from sunlight as plants make their food with the help of sunlight and we are eating plant.

It is becoz Man is omnivores , it eats both plants and animals.........Plants get energy from sun during the process of photosynthesis and then plants are either directly consumed by humans or they are eaten by animals which are further consumed by humans....in this way Man get energy from sun indirectly...
