EXPLANATION:

Manure is organic matter derived after decomposition of plants, known as green manure. Manure from plants is used as fertilizer in organic farming. Plants shed their leaves which when fall to the ground get decomposed over time due to temperature, moisture, pressure and action of micro-organisms.

This converts them to manure. This manure can in turn be used by plants for their own growth or to facilitate the growth of other plants. Hence it is said that plants produce their own manure.
