Speech on farewell for school assembly

• Good morning, everyone.
• As it is today, as it is every other day. We are gathered in our school assembly in the final week of our school life.
• I still remember my first day at this school. I was admitted here in class 6. I was very nervous and cautious about starting a new school.
• I was sad as my old friends were not in this school. And how will my new classmates treat me?
• So, with a heavy bag and a heavy heart, I entered my classroom. I was observing the class and was not sure where I should sit.
• At that moment, a boy appeared and told me that I could sit beside him. If I am okay I smiled and sat down on the 3rd last bench.
• And after the 2nd period, it didn't feel like it was my first day at this school.
• Everyone treated me like we were old friends. The teachers were also very nice and helpful. All my worries went off.
• That boy is now my best friend, and we are going to the same college. I thank you all that you made our school life so smooth that today it feels like all those moments were from yesterday.
• Thank you once again. I love you guys.
