Course of Brahmaputra:
                                       the journey of this river starts at agsni glacier.It flows through Tibet, Assam and Arunachal pradesh. it's length is 2,900 km. Basin length is 651,334 sq. km. It makes a very rapid descent from its original height in Tibet, and finally appears in the plains, where it is called Dihang. It flows for about 35 km (22 mi) and is joined by the Dibang River and the Lohit River at the head of the Assam Valley.

Deccan plateau:
The plateau is bounded on the east and west by the Ghats, while its northern extremity is the Vindhya Range. The Deccan's average elevation is about 2,000 feet (600 m), sloping generally eastward; its principal rivers, the Godavari, Krishna, and Cauvery, flow from the Western Ghats eastward to the Bay of Bengal.
