 \textbf {Hey there, here is the solution.}

.............................................................................................

Amount of cloth needed for
one shirt = 2 1/3 = 7/3 m

Total amount of cloth = 9 1/3 = 28/3 m

.

Number of shirts = 28/3 ÷ 7/3

Number of shirts = 28/3 x 3/7

Number of shirts = 4

.

Answer: Radhika can make 4 shirts.

Heya!!

Thanks for asking the question!

Answer : 4 shirts

Solution :

Given,

Cloth needed to make one shirt=2 1/3 m = 7/3m

Length of cloth that Radhika has = 9 1/3m = 28/3m

To find ,

No. of shirts that can be made using this cloth.

No. of shirts that can be made by the total cloth = total cloth ÷ cloth required to make one shirt

Now, substituting the values

No. of shirts = {(28/3 )÷ (7/3)}m

=> The three will get cancelled out when we convert 7/3 to its reciprocal while performing division .

Now,

No. of shirts = 4 shirts. ( Answer )
