let the original mass be m and velocity be v
so,
KE1=1/2×mv²
now
m=m/4
v=2v
so,
KE2=1/2×(m/4)×(2v)²=1/2×m/4×4v²=1/2×mv²
so,
there is no change in the kinetic energy.
