It the size of a cube increased by 50% then find how much volume of the cube increased? - answer me with each step

Do you mean side?

Size means just the volume. If size is increased by 50%,then the volume will be increased by 50%.

It will become 1 + 50/100

= 1 + 0.5

= 1.5 times the original one.

But if each side is increased by 50% then kinda different story.

Volume is proportional to side^3.

So it will become (a + 0.5a)^3

Put a = 100, originally u get 100^3.

But afterwards you get 150^3.

Factor of increase = 150^3/100^3

= (1.5)^3

= 3.375 times original one.
