It took 20,000 workers to build the tag mahal in 20 years. How many workers would be required to build it in 10 years?

40,000 workers would be required to build the Taj Mahal in 10 years.

• It is given that 20,000 workers built the Taj Mahal in 20 years.

=> Number of workers required to build the Taj Mahal in year will more than 20 as more work force would be required.

• ∴  Number of workers required to build the Taj Mahal in one year = 20,000 × 20 = 400,000

• Number of workers required to build the Taj Mahal in 10 years will less than 400,000 as the time span is more.

=> Number of men required to build the Taj Mahal in 10 years = 400,000 / 10 = 40,000

• Number of workers required to build the Taj Mahal in 10 years = 40,000
