God’s tears and man’s sweat –

this is salt

that balances the earth.

Explanation:

These lines are an extract from Anamika's highly acclaimed poem called "Salt". In this poem, the poet talks about how there is both good and bad elements on Earth that balances everything. She compares these elements to the salt. Salt though it has a strong taste, it complements well when added into food. Like salt, a thing is incomplete without the other. Everything co-exists together.

The lines mentioned above mean the pain, sorrow, grief and other emotional feelings that resides inside a person's heart. If there is hate, there is bound to have love. Similarly, if there is pain, there will be happiness.

By God's tears and man's sweat, the poet bring the idea of all the pain and suffering humans must face to find joy and happiness in the end.
