Mass is the measure of the particles present In u and the SI unit is kg whereas weight is the gravitational pull and it is basically the force Acting downwards.. The weight changes with the change in the gravity. But mass does not change. The weight of a object will not be same every where on moon or on mars but mass will remain the same.
SI unit of weight is Newton.
