It was a cold, gloomy day and I was relaxing in my room when I heard something outside. At first I didn't do anything. I thought I had imagined it but then I heard it again. I went to the window and tried looking outside. It was like a small scream. Like a very soft one. As it was almost late night and I was alone in the house, I decided that it would be better to just go to sleep. But then I couldn't sleep at all. The noise kept recurring. At last, I gathered all my guts and went out to check what it was. I was ashamed and glad that no one had seen me getting scared at a cat below my window, purring violently!
